Adding New Recruits To Your Team

Many of your new recruits will not yet have a life insurance license. Equis partners with a company called XCEL Solutions that has an excellent online study course. They give our new agents a significant discount on the cost of this course. The regular price is $200, but with our discount your recruit will only pay $40*.

You need to send an email to clientservices@xcelsolutions.com and ask them to set up an admin account for you. Be sure to mention that you are with Equis, and include your full name, email, and state. They will generate a unique link that has your partner code at the end. Your partner code is simply your first name and last name without a space in between.

After you have registered your new recruit via your Equis agent dashboard, send them an email that includes your XCEL link. This will only allow them not to get the discounted price, but you will also receive a daily email from XCEL that will show the progress that all of your recruits are making as they work through the course.

*In Illinois the regular cost is $250 and the discounted price is $90

After you have registered your new recruit in the Equis system, they will receive an email from the onboarding department with the Independent Contractor Agreement that they review and sign via Docusign. For licensed recruits, their email will also include some additional contracting requirements.

Whether they are licensed or unlicensed, send them a quick follow up email with a link to the morning coaching calls. Encourage them to start joining these calls with their camera on as they are working through the onboarding process. If they are unlicensed, you will also need to include your XCEL Solutions link that has your partner code.
